Well it had to happen didnt it 
I drove the new van over 700 miles home from Hamburg and not a problem. Took it for it's MOT nr Canterbury only to find one of the headlights wouldnt work despite trying everything It had been fine up to then
I took it to one main dealer who was too busy to help, and ended up at 4.30 at night at Motorhomes Repaired on the Ashford rd on the edge of Canterbury. Their Auto Electrician was just going home, but they promised to do it first thing next morning as I explained my need to have it fixed quickly.
So at 8am next morning they set to work, It was simply a couple of loose connections and a corroded wire. They stripped out the offending items and reconnected in double quick time. They also checked and double checked other wiring and made sure all was tickety boo.
They charged me very little and I was able to make the retest that same morning
