Hi Everyone,
Not wishing to go down the Granny / egg sucking route, this thread is for those who are not overly familiar with the web, or do not have a GPS system. Picking up on - rach 82 and - Great sites in the Lake District thread. I would normally use Google earth to locate the car park in the great woods area, but Multimap is on this occasion better. Open Multimap & home in on Keswick, you will notice that the three boxes on the left, Map, Aerial, Birds Eye, become four boxes - OS map. This stands for Ordnance survey. Click this and Great wood & car park are shown. Click Aerial and the car park complete with access road are visible. You now accurately mark the spot in your road atlas.
