hi all , got myself a nice little motor ,just handy for the odd night or two wilding . ok so its a diesel seat alhambra 7 seater that seems to have been to the moon and back judjing by the mile omiter:) but when the rear seats are removed there is plenty of space for a blow up matress. thinking of making up a removeable camper interor so i got the best of both worlds ,bags of room to ferry the kids and my daughter about ,and then a decent weekender for the wife and myself . oh buy the way a big welcome to all our new members ,and of course howdy to all the old timers on here ,as arnie says ile be back .

hi all , got myself a nice little motor ,just handy for the odd night or two wilding . ok so its a diesel seat alhambra 7 seater.

My father who lives just outside of Monmouth has a Seat Alhambra, 1.9 TDi. He thinks it's very good, just the job for picking up logs for his open fire, plenty of room in the back, he used to cook breakfast at Chepstow race course on market Sunday for his work colleagues in the back of the van.
Quite a fast vehicle and basically a VW, so can't be bad. I found it difficult to get used to the long 'nose' on the Alhambra after driving a VW Caravelle.

yes its a nice motor ,well it will be when i have done some more tidying up on it . they are all basicaly the same ,ford galaxy, vw sharan, seat alahmbra .and for a 1.9 td are pretty quick of the mark, and are rather well equiped air con ,cruse heated captains chairs at the front , all power windows in fact more goodies than my old c class merc had . nice thing about it is is the trip computer that gives amongst other things the average fuel consumption and at the moment i seem to be getting around the 40 mpg mark local running. ok i know they read slightly optomistic ,but its still a decent thing on fuel ..

New you would not be able to stay away for long. Wellcome back:)

Extraordinary. I have been a member since February 2006, not meet a single member on my gallavanting around all of Europe. Never mind, perhaps one day it will happen, until then, I enjoy chatting with you folks over a keyboard.☺☺☺
