We had a 1 year old Fiat which was covered by Fiat Camper ( WE DO NOT ) Care and broke down in France firstly after giving them the size of motorhome 7.5 mtrs long 3.5 tonnes etc and was told we would be picked up within the hour over 2 hours later a 7.5 tonne lorry came to pick us up and was only about 1 mtr longer than the motorhome so after another lengthy phone call they ( the RAC ) which should be renamed RAH ( run and hide ) sent another lorry over 1 hr later the driver never strapped our motorhome onto the lorry and just drove off to for want of a better word a scrap yard and dumped us there and indicated he would return the next day, To cut a long story short we were dropped at a Fiat garage where it took nearly 3 days to do a 2 hour repair and we were not given any of the benefits as stated in the breakdown booklet eg hire car or overnight accomodation so do not always believe what is written in the terms and conditions, hence we would never ever own another Fiat vehicle.
