Euro Vets

Hi all,
Does anyone know if having your dog checked by a vet in Holland is cheaper than a vet in France. As we're going to Holland via the Eurotunnel-calais-Holland, returning same route, and DEFRA now say we have 5 days to get the dogs done.
So, basically, is it cheaper to have our 2 dogs checked in Holland or France?
thankyou.

hi. that depends how much they charge . might be dearer might be cheaper . all vets seem to charge what they like .

Also some of the Vets are not up to speed on the new UK regs. The Vet we usually use in Gyvelde was not aware of the need to just give the dog a worming tablet. She tried to do the Frontline as well

You now have to have the dog wormed not less than 24hrs and not more than 96hrs before you travel and that's it.

The Eurotunnel check in had leaflets in both French and English to that effect. I took a couple of each and have meant to send one to the Vet. €30 for a worming tablet was a total P*** take.
