Embsay moor reservoir

We are heading off towards Skipton and wondered if anyone had ever stayed at Embsay Moor reservoir

if so, are there any overight restrictions?

No replies, but having driven up to the reservoir on Friday night we found a rather large sign at the foot of which it said no camping, overnight parking etc... so decided to move on. We wanted to park close enough to walk into Skipton on Saturday, after much too-ing and fro-ing we headed in the direction of Cononley. Just 2 miles out of the town centre we happened on two very nice, tucked away laybys which aren't on the POI download, I'll post the references later but we had a lovely peaceful Friday night, an occasional passing vehicle but nothing untoward.



A nice easy stroll into Skipton Saturday morning (30min walk) plenty of bargains from the market, and what visit to Skipton would be complete without a cracking pork pie.
