Elevating Roof for Vito (SWB)

Hi,
Would anyone know if it's possible to get an elevating roof to fit a mercedes vito - short wheelbase? I would like to convert mine to a camper?

Hi Glyn, and welcome to the site.

I'm no expert, but I would imagine that you can fit any elevating roof to any type of van, as long as the size is right. I don't think one is made specifically for the Vito.

There are a few folk on here who have carried out conversions and may well have fitted their own elevating roofs.

If you don't get any joy try the sbmcc who should know more about elevating roofs.

Elevating roofs

Hello Glyn, Yes, a Remo or Leisuredrive roof will fit. They make them for all types of vans, normally one size will fit all. My VW T4 has a Leisuredrive side elevating roof but Reimo (or Remo, not sure) are front elevating.
If you are in the North East I could recommend a local installer who converted my T4 ?
