Electrolux RM275 fridge spares

I had to replace the RM275 in my 1991 Hymer when I bought it last year, as the ammonia coolant had leaked. Strangely, in its 25 year life, the gas or 12v had never been used! I think it had been used as a semi permanent home by its German owner, as it even had an electricity meter fitted!

Any, that aside, I salvaged as many usable parts as possible from the old RM275 unit which was fitted to many Hymers of that era, and others as well. It had a "re -igniter" unit for the gas. Some have been taken already, but I have a few bits left. These are now taking up space and need to go. No reasonable offer (inc the postage costs) will be refused!

I have
Main door unit in pretty good condition.
Top and bottom hinges for main door.
Freezer door
Freezer door hinges. One has been repaired at some point but works fine.
2 shelves, very good, much better than the flimsy units in the Dometic which replaced it!
3 shelf /cubby units from main door
main gas valve which the gas control knob fits on to.(almost as new)
gas igniter electronic unit including leads (almost as new)
gas electrode (as new apart from a split in the rubbber cap)
Thermistor (gas safety cut out device) almost as new
240v heater unit, works well, spade connectors cut off during removal

Any questions, please ask. I haven't put pictures up, because if you have one of these, you will know what I am talking about. But if you do need pictures please PM me. I am in the Midlands near Coventry if anyone wants to collect.
Thanks
Mark

Hi Malc
I may have. Which Thermostat? Do you have a picture you can put up. I have a number of bits I cannot identify, so it may be one of those!

I might be interested in the door and hinges as mine is looking a bit tatty! In what part of the country do you live?

I have had a look but cannot see anything that might help. From memory, the only thing that may have been a thermostat was actually built in to the fridge, with a wire a bit like a thermistor wire going to the gas /electric control unit. I had to cut it off so it would be useless anyway. Sorry.

Hi, I would be interested in some of the parts you if you still have them.
