Why are most of the replacement fittings such as switches, sockets etc in biege colour? semms to be difficult to source any in white.....

To blend in with the boring backdrops/backgrounds caravan makers used all those years ago,I geuss its just stuck since.:D:D

go to your local d.i.y. type store and you`ll get all the white you want,
beige is only a motorhome/caravan thing.
and the d.i.y. ones will be 1/3 the price.

screwfix are good 1/5 of the price then :D

I fitted my Hymer with white UK sockets for mains (240v) and beside them I fitted Beige (240v) for the inverter. I took out most of the continental two pin plugs in the process.

That way if I need to run more than the site allows on 240v I can supplement it with power through the inverter.

I now have a double of each type in the kitchen area. A double by the door where there was a single continental and a double white and single beige by the table. I also have a 6 gang extension that can be plugged into the sockets by the table to power phone chargers and laptop. This can also supply mains power for my Amateur Radio transceiver etc.

i forgot about screwfix,,good man.
i`m trade so i buy locally, and screwfix have a 3 day delivery to me.
but your rite cheaper again
