electric hookup points in the highlands in Scotland

Hi All

I was talking to some campers who were parked up with their MH. They mentioned that there were public electric hookup points installed in the highlands in Scotland whereby for a couple of quid you could hook up and stop overnight there were like those over in France. Can anyone tell me the location points where these hookup points are please?

Sorry can't give location but one does exist I read about a harbour I think it was on east coast
