Hi.
Have been thinking about getting a 12 volt fan for using if the weather ever improves this year ,but wonder if they are noisey at night also can you get 12 volt timers. This time last year it was around 40 degrees a bit warm for sleeping. Thanks.

We have a couple of these HELLA 12v fans. Two speed work really well. As you can see fixed in place. Black ones are available on Amazon but bought these from AMAZON.COM. Took about a week to arrive and were cheaper than Uk.

Can sleep with them running.

We sleep with ours. One over the bed and one in the kitchen. A surprising amount of wind for their size!!!!

Not used a timer.

You can get 12v timers - stay on for x time more so than go off at midnight or whatever, but would still work. A little less plug and play though generally. Easy enough if you know basic electrics.

Have you considered PC fans?

Thanks everyone. No I don’t think pc. Fans would be suitable, but will follow up on timers.
