Elddis Tyre Pressures

We have a 1991 Elddis Autostratus based on a 2 litre petrol Talbot. It runs on 185, 75 R14 tyres. Ther is a sticker inside the nearside doorjamb giving tyre pressures as 63 psi front and 66 psi rear. This seems quite high to me. Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

that sounds like the chassis manufacturers tyre pressures they allways seem to conflict with the coachbuilders reccomendations i however use the chassis manufacturers spec as they should cover the van at full laden weight better than the often lower coachbuilders spec, which leads to what looks to me like an under inflated tyre. hope this helps

I run mine on 60 psi all round.It says 60 for rear 55 for front .

Our Chausson which I would say is a similar size is 72psi all round... so 60 odd is not excessive.
