This looks interesting if you're an existing EE customer and are looking for a SIM only contract:

Note the no charge EU roaming...

Not sure if there are restrictions.

PS It seems to be 50Gb per month.

I have EE Tv and their 500 fibre broadband at home (which is excellent) that gets me unlimited SIM card for £12 per month, which I use in my router in the van. I pay £2.40 a day whilst abroad to use all of my allowances. As I only go abroad for two one week stays a year this suits me fine. Our phones with 5gb are £9 a month, but I can gift 100gb to each phone from the unlimited sim, which gives me 105Gb on each phone. But obviously this may work out expensive if staying for longer periods as some on here do.

Even more interesting is this screenshot explaining the plans:

Note the Essentials Plus feature 'No-charge EU Roaming, use your inclusive minutes and data in Europe'.

I'm trying to buy a SIM online but their website store is down!!!

Maybe it's overloaded with people trying to benefit from this deal.

If I manage to buy one and find the above statement isn't true I've got a bargaining chip.

Fair use amount If your domestic data allowance is greater than 50GB, a fair usage policy of 50GB whilst roaming in our Europe zone will apply (i.e. you can use up to 50GB from your allowance while roaming, subject to the charge described above). Once you’ve used your fair usage policy amount when roaming, we will notify you and surcharges will apply to continue using data when roaming in our Europe and Rest of World Zones.

However the screenshot does not state that the use of the inclusive minutes and data is subject to any fair use policy. According to the Consumer Rights Act any restrictions or policies that apply must be prominent. This is not the case here quite evidently.

Just got something similar from Vodafone. Haven't studied it closely but they talk about unlimited data deal . You can use all your allowance in EU .
Doubt it very much
Deliberately misleading

We are in a similar place. We have an EE 4G router with an unlimited SIM in it which we can gift 50Gig of data a month to our mobiles. The mobile contracts are sim only with EE and older contracts so no roaming charges. Therefore we get 100Gig a month for free when abroad with no roaming charges. We also take the router with us when in the UK. From memory it costs us £20 a month for the router and unlimited sim plus £8.50 each a month for mobiles.

Sounds very expensive to me, I’ve still got the same contract I took out back in the dark ages, 2 phones, unlimited everything and roaming (now limited) £17.98.

Was BT mobile but changed to EE they used to try to tempt me out of the deal with “special offers” etc but think they’ve given up now.

“50GB data fair use policy applies outside the UK” for £36/month - not the best deal.
