It is too good to be true.
More snake oil to be avoided...
I suspect the maker of your vehicle spent a fair amount of time and effort maximising the fuel economy of your vehicle....
YES remapping/chipping can improve performance (often needing other Mods to maximise the result)
BUT fuel economy.... Nahh

I have to agree that these things don't work, driving more light footed is the best way to increase economy, a couple of weeks ago I had to get to Hertfordshire in a hurry, Fiat Panda 1.2cc and it only returned 41.3mpg, same car coming back and fully loaded it returned 54.6mpg but took 30mins longer
