First let me tell you a little story....
I used to own a Mercedes V220 CDI that came fit with an eberspacher D5w 5kw water heater. It heated up the engines water. Anyway it packed up and I had to get a new one. The cheapest way to get one was from a company that converted VW's to disabled vehicles. They remove the brand new heaters from them and then supply and original fitting kit. Anyway as I only need the heater I had the fitting kit left over.
On Sunday I purchased from ebay a secondhand unit for £82.00 (the kit new is £750.00+) , so I can now put my fitting kit to good use!
I am trying to make the perfect wildcamping camper with the bongo, and hopefully over the next year it should start to take shape.
