Ebay or not to ebay??

Just a quick one... hopefully.

I finished my camper a few months ago and after a epic 2400 mile John O'groats to lands end tour of the U.K in 15 days I'm quite please to say it all worked and i don't need to change anything. So now I'm trying to figure out how to restore my bank balance i have decided to sell all the bits that i didn't use.

The advice I need is any of it worth anything?, as quite a few things were given or i got from a 1987 Tabolt from a scrap yard.

With any luck the pictures will show you what ive got, can anyone tell me A. is worth putting it on ebay, if so what sort of price? and B. if anyone wants any of it i'll let me know and I'll sell it to you rather than ebay it.

Many thanks

I'm sure it is worth something to somebody, it is just finding the right person.

There was once a programme where they decided to auction "a length of old rope" on Ebay, that they had found on the hard shoulder, just to see if anyone would actually buy it.

Sure enough someone came along and bought it!

I remember they sold the length of rope, bought something else, sold that and worked their way up to a house or something. Could be an urban myth the last bit though!

Personally I hate ebay, the reason being by the time you have factored in pay pal rip offs, postage and packing, searching time, time wasters, goods not as described or other pitfalls it's hardly worth it for me.

I think you could sell your bits and clear £30 profit but if you spend 5 hours admin/spare time doing so, is there any gain? Then again some people like hanging round the ebay site, taking photographs, making phonecalls, and putting things in the post, so it could be a pleasure for you ;)

Get that Carver Cascade on Ebay quick.

The last one I sold on there made me £135. :D :D

If you have the original mounting template and destructions its worth a bit more too. :)

Its a big hole to cut in the side of your van if you're not sure where to put it!!!!!

I remember this programme. The presenter who sold the rope made a mistake with his postage charge and ended up out of pocket.
