Hi guys,we were hoping to go away to the south coast this easter but the weather is looking pretty awful.
We have had the van for 3 weeks now and only sat in it on the driveway.
God...I'm going crazy!
Is anyone else going away this weekend? if so where?
Phil.

Ahh, never mind the weather,Phil, It's nice and warm in the van, 3 weeks ago I had the wife and bairns away and it was -8 degrees overnight and we were warm as toast.
It was better than a wet ,muddy weekend in August:rolleyes:.

Go for it

Hi Phil.

Check out the "Easter 2008" thread started by *****.

Not sure where you are based, but a few of us are meeting up in North Wales, you would be more than welcome if it's not too far for you.

stormy weather

i agree lenny, i love in the van when it's stormy. rock-a-bye baby at bed time and you feel so cosy. just make sure your bum is facin' into the wind.(bum of the van of course) and if its snowing just lie there snuggled up in the duvet, bliss

I am away this weekend first to Connset and then across the Stanhope moors to the Alston in Cumbria, these places have a reputation for bad weather when the forecast is bad, its all part of the fun and keeps me on my toes, lets me know i am still alive.:D
All in all i dont let the weather stop me, when i get the urge to get out and about i am up and off.;)

I'm away friday to the Bakewell C.C.C site in Youlgreave Derbyshire with the Grandson, hope to get some walking in, visit Chatsworth house and Bakewells famous Bank Holiday market. I was away last weekend and Saturday and the wind was blowing a gale.
