Early ferry to Belfast

Heading to visit family in Ireland next Monday and catching the 7.30 am ferry from Cairnryan. Does anyone know a suitable overnight spot close by where we can park for the night before checking in at 6.30 and catching the ferry ?

We stopped here for the night before early morning crossing, short drive to terminal. I should state, this was approx four year ago, hard to say if spot still exists?

Head South (towards Stranraer)on the A77 for 5 and a half miles,there's a snack bar called The Bunker and a large car park on the right hand side,we have used this parking lots of times going for an early ferry.

I haven’t been on the ferry since before lockdown, but we always used to stop by the harbour in Girvan the night before early crossings. I think it’s just over half an hour’s drive from Girvan to the ferry.
