Now I know you can’t use them in the UK on the road but I’ve been toying with the idea of getting an e scooter for me and the wife for are trips abroad, the two wheel type that have a seat on them.
We have tried motorbikes and pushbikes in the past.
We are lucky enough to have a large garage on the van to keep them in.
Does anyone have one of these and if so how do you get on with them? Also if so which one to recommend that won’t break the bank.

Thanks Barry, I didn’t plan to go on the busy roads more for in the country villages to explore the bike trails etc

I’ve seen plenty on ones with seats so not sure about that I’d have to check. I don’t really want a bike from a weight and space point of view. We don’t have a bike rack and I don’t have enough space in the garage for them

...cheaper here;

EDIT; I guess that price is with the smaller battery though!

I see lots of youths using them illegally on the streets ,they are very fast and dangerous , i chatted to one and asked him if he was worried about being caught his reply , na the police can't catch me ???. They are illegal in UK except on private land,, points on your driving license if caught

If this lad comes off he’ll burn his arse on the corrosive liquid before it touches the ground 🤣

The implementation of the law is a bit suspect for scooters I reckon? Generally yes they are illegal to use on the road, but there are a few towns in the UK where they are permitted as long as they are rented from a company approved by the town authority, who no doubt get a kickback on rental and/or licence.
Only dangerous when not from them obviously!
