Yes folks I did it today, £40 of unleaded into the camper, lucky not far from home so a pump out into drums and £50 fresh diesel in and all is well.
So im going to add a 5 ltr of old fuel every time i top up, wast not want not, will add a dash of two stroke or cooking oil to it.

I used mine in the ride on mower with a wee dash of castrol R to make it smell better.

It just made it cut out at idle and a tad hard to start, all ok now, many years back old truckers used to put a gallon in tanks to stop the derv from freezing in winter.

Yes they now have winter and summer derv, no more red lollypops, oops sorry white.

I've seen them burn newspapers under the tanks before now Trev to warm up the diesel.

Back in the AA days I had a 40 gallon drum out the back of the house for when members put the wrong fuel in.

Yes they did, it didn't have that much of an effect judging by the number of trucks I had to go out to at the side of the road with waxed up fuel filters, I found Cummins engined trucks to be the best once you could get them to run long enough for warm fuel to be returning to the tank (80% fuel return)
