I’ve decided to go down the tv route in my van so new Avtex is on order and I am purchasing a new areal that Lairdy has been trying to flog for 12 months ( cheeky discount requested and accepted 😂) but my question is the located drilling point for things like aerials and solar panels are located in the wardrobe but the solar panel covers it so can you drill a hole elsewhere on a motorhome roof naturally avoiding important fixtures and fittings for the aerial lead through or does it have to go through specific drilling points.

No, As you say so long as you miss any ‘Important Bits’ you can drill almost anywhere is convenient to do so. But try & put the Flex or Cable ‘Up’ into the Skin Gland as apposed to Running ‘Down’ into it,,,If that makes sense 🤔👍

As above, shouldn't be a problem but make sure the flex is fitted so any water runs away from the gland where it enters the body.

Maybe over the cab is a plastic panel that can be removed?
You may be able to go through the fibreglass front mould. Use one of these, they do a single version

Most aerials have the cable within /underneath so no skin glands required, but be well sure there is no wiring where you drill ,use a cable detector before going clean mad,i got my tv used on f/book for £25 ,the ones with the we power box mainly run on 12v and a cable to plug into cigy socket can be got on flea bay, mine works a treat, its a cello.

If yours olar pannel don't leak then then reomove and go via that root and clean pannel while you up there.
Take photos please.
We just use a cheap bi-directanal magnetic Arial as you have to retune tv at most new locations. ?
As there digital
DID YOU GET HD TUNER IN TV. If not WONT WORK IN FRANCE

Love ya miss ya burning hammer THOR
