Ducato false floor

Just thought I,d share with you some of my handy work and receive loads of praise from you all:eek::rolleyes:.

Those of you who are familiar with the older Fiat Ducato floor plan will know that there is an awful step down to the drivers cab area,so I,ve pinched "Derekfaeberwicks" idea raised the floor leaving me with four handy little secret compartments (Sshhh, dont tell anyone):p

I tried do do such a thing in mine too, but my other half didn't have a good eye on it. Now I may show her your pictures to convince her :rolleyes:

BTW I slid a case on curtainrails between the seats with a cushion on it: a nice look-out for our Jacks :rolleyes:

Leo, I just covered the job with what I had stashed in me hut, (8mm. MDF covered with mouldable vehicle lining material that I had leftover from a previous project, this was stuck on with aerosol glue)
