On the Swift (590rs on a 06 ducato chassis) the cab has central locking operated via the door locks....
Is there possibility of having it lock/unlock via a key fob...?

It does have a (Cobra I think) alarm that has a remote fob BUT the alarm has been removed (I have it in the spares, box that came with the van)
But presume that the remote fob just activates/de activates the alarm.

It's one of these..... 20181127_200313.jpg

Everything is still in place just the main alarm unit removed I believe.

It has a big multi plug with a waterproof cover it will probably already be wired into the central locking you could try plugging it in do you have the remote for it

Yup got the remote.... But just need to find where the remote lived (I've looked under the bonnet but no signs so must have been hidden a bit deeper)

All the workings are inside the siren the plug sho7ld be under the bonnet prob on the passenger side

I have a Cobra alarm fitted on an 06 plate Ducato. The key fob on mine does open and close my central locking. When we are inside and lock it we press one of the keys on the control panel as we press the fob and it deactivates the internal sensor, there is a way to do it from outside as well but I have never bothered with that.

Cool....
Cheers guys,
I'll have a closer look to see if I can find where the alarm module plugs in and is mounted..
Then refit it and see IF I've got remote locking

Chris....

You were spot on... Found plug and plugged alarm back in.,

Bingo remote locking now works WITH the bonus of an alarm fitted too.

Many thanks guys top advice as ever.
