Downton Cuckoo Fair Hampshire

The Downton Cuckoo Fair at Downton Hampshire, held at beginning of May each year, Saturday all day all free great spectacle, the whole village joins in and raises money for Charity,we camp just up the road on a local farm, short walk through fields to the venues, DA meet of the CCC New Forest DA, we often get treated to the Lambing on the farm when practical, plenty of parking for day visitors in the town and mini busses from the parking , also parking at the church, all the pubs have music and barbi food, carnival parade, Maypole dancing , several of the houses open their gardens for teas and cakes beside the beautiful rivers that flow through the village, sadly it may not happen this year due to the Virus problem but it is one to watch for in the future.

The cancellation of this year's fair was announced on 20th March, so definitely one for the future

Any one over 70 may not be allowed out for over a year,so looks like i will be forced out shopping to im 70.
