Silly question probably - but How do I do it?

If I have a photo on the laptop, how do I alter the image size - so I can download it.

regards

Craig:)

Click on File, then click open.

You then find your picture in the appropriate place eg: my pictures.

Double click and it should appear full size in Paint.

Click on "image" then click on stretch and skew.

You will have to experiment a bit to get what you want.

I did that with my avatar (which I found on the net) I could`nt be a**ed to get it perfect but who cares. Donald Pleasance is nothing like me anyway.

Imagine Piers Brosnan aged 90 and thats me.

If you have a picture that is huge and you are not sure what to do then go here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

On the right scroll down, you want the 'Image Resizer.exe'

Download it and install, then when you view a picture it will give you a 'resize pictures' command when you right click on the picture, you can then choose 'Small' 'Medium' 'Large' or handheld it will then make a copy of the picture in your chosen size in the same folder as the original.

This tool from Microsoft works with XP but I am not sure about Vista.:)

Hope this helps you.:)

I use this too. Great for quickly resizing pics for a PDA or phone.
