hi were of to france next week any one know any good places to wild camp in dover night before we catch the boat?

That has always been where we have stayed, with no problems at all.
 
We also stay there, then first thing before ferry across main rd to cafe for full English.

Do you know about Canterbury P n R ? there is a dedicated Motorhome Aire here, it is £2.50 for 24 hours, there is water and toilet dump here and a free bus into Canterbury as many times as you like, and it is a 20 minute drive to the Ferries at Dover, It is closed on Sundays but you can exit if you are already in there IE overnight on a Saturday, a great place to overnight, you can also over night at Dover Patrol on the white cliffs, a bumpy road up , and on a clear day you can see France.

dover parking

hi moggy,we parked there 5 or 6 weeks ago.90p an hour up to 6pm,then free from 6pm till 8am.there is a long block of flats on the front of marine parade so u know ur in the rite place."up the stags"-billi
 
Hi Moggy,

here is the definitive guide!! If you come to Dover via the M20 you will come to a roundabout. Go straight on and at the 3rd roundabout signposted "Marina" turn right, go over the swing bridge and then turn left onto Marine Parade. The places for the motorhomes are immediately there on the right hand side- on the sea side. The parking referred to earlier opposite the block of flats is actually for cars but I don't think anyone gets a ticket down there.
