Double Decker Bus Parking

I'm in the process of converting a double decker bus into a motor home / possible full-time home. I'm lucky enough to have enough space to park it permanently, however, 'Wanderlust' might prevail [provided I can find a sponsor for the diesel ;-) ].... Has anyone else apart from Cliff Richard had any experience of trying to park something so large for any periods of time? I'd guess that farms might be a good bet... I find mine great fun, of course it's huge space isn't claustrophobic and there's nothing quite like being stretched out in front of a log fire watching a DVD on the laptop before retiring upstairs to bed [where strangely I sleep so much more soundly than in the house I can't wait to be rid of]! Whilst writing I further wonder if anyone else has converted a similar vehicle and might want to exchange ideas especially regarding insulation techniques?

Lovely idea but what has always stopped us is most (as far as we are aware) sites and camping organisations won't let you use them. Also many many sites have rules that won't allow you to use a log fire !
