My friends have a 2004, 36 ft Mountain air with manual door lock. They were having an occasional problem of shutting the door only to find that upon return the door would NOT unlock with the key. After taking the lock assembly apart from the inside he could see that a small "ear" was supposed to press against a bar when the key was turned and unlock. He found the the ear was simply too short to engage the bar on a regular basis, so he simply welded a bead to the ear making it just a little bit longer, and the problem was solved.
