Our moho alarm has recently started doing some odd things, like randomly going off several times a day when it's not even set, it's really no fun at all to be suddenly awakened by it in the middle of the night, kill it on the fob for it to only go off again a short while later! Gee for all we know it may have gone off several times more whilst we were in a deep sleep? It's kind of like it's developed some artificial intelligence and at first just went off at the worst possible times late at night but then also started to go off at random during the daytime too! It's trigger report claimed that the cause was the ultrasonic sensors and also panic button, so it's learnt to lie too!
Like as if it wasn't getting our attention already it then leant the new trick of suddenly fully arming itself in the middle of the day whilst we were sat in the moho. But enough was enough so I pulled it's fuses and we've had no surprises since. Yet it seems to still want to have the last word as when a cab door is opened the siren now croaks incessantly in defiance. 🤣
No worries though as it will soon be sorted one way or another by a man that can, but just what a right PITA it has recently been! 🙄

Better with a pedal and wheel lock, I made one and so easy to do, it also takes a padlock and chain to go round the s/wheel.

I got that fed up with the factory ( Compass / Explorer ) fitted PIR alarm in our motorhome randomly going off whenever it felt like it i disconnected it completely.

Even at the side of our house in the middle of the night the bloody thing would all of a sudden go off and was clearly audible from the inside house

Despite numerous visits back to the dealer and a separate mobile caravan/motorhome electrician it still damned well did it so i terminated it permanently o_O

So annoying when these things go off and for no apparent reason! Our CO2 alarm started doing this one day, worryingly. But after I firmly whacked it, ( nothing gas related was going at the time) it stopped and has behaved ever since.

If it’s a boxer or Ducati make sure your windscreen isn’t leaking into the electrics on the drivers side mine did and gave me air bag faults and all sorts leaked in the top corner and ran down the A post
