Above works fine on 240 volts, both freezer and fridge no issues. On gas, both won't work. Unit auto automatically switches from 240volts to gas, hear the clicking, then light stays on the front of the unit. Taking the outside cover off, can see good gas light at the botton of the flu and the flu feels warm to the touch. Any ideas before I commit to a replacement as I'm away fishing so use the lpg/gas option most of the time

When mine was doing the same I used a can of compressed air on mine and blew across the burner as mine was due to crap dropping down the flue when hitting potholes working fine for now.

1) I assume that "On gas, both font work." is a typo for "On gas, both DON'T work."
2) Sounds like campervanannie is correct in saying the burner needs cleaning. Lots of vids on YT showing how to do it.
3) Photo of "good gas light at the Notton (another typo for "Bottom"?) of the flu" please.

Cheers Annie, so yours was alight ok, just not making the fridge freezer actually chill down?

Yes it stayed lit but just not cooling down but when checking the flame it seemed low and weak but after spraying it the flame looked better and it started to cool the fridge

So I took the wind cover off to take this this morning. Freezer compartment sitting at 0bdegrees still

If it happens again try the thermocouple input into the controller, I had a similar problem when the thermo-couple failed at the south of Morrocco the fridge freezer then only worked on electric . I managed to cobble together a K type thermocouple from a bicycle spoke and some fine bore copper tube. Using fibre glass tape for insulation i shoved the spoke down the tube and brazed the two together at the tip it worked for three months until I got a new one back in blighty.
I also coupled a buzzer across the warning lamp so that if the wind blew out the flame it warned us and stopped the freezer contents from de-frosting on a long journey.
