Dometic Gas Ring Puzzle

Three gas rings. Two work perfectly, they light first time with built in igniter etc. The third ring only agrees to light 50% of the time. When it does light, 50% of those times it abruptly shuts off after a minute or so. The rest of the time it works normally.
Causes? Remedies?

Has it had something spill onto it and blocked the jets partially?

sounds like a weird thermocouple problem . you could eliminate by swapping with one of the others. at your own risk of course !

Find the thermocouple connection, remove and clean it, then refit. That usually works.

As said, thermo couple,had a dodgy one on mine a while back. Similar issues

Thanks Gents. I'm not brave enough to remove the thermocouple (how even?) but with the van being newish the thermocouple looked very clean. Anyway, I cleaned it in situ, and (technical bit coming here) wobbled it about a bit, gave it a good talking to and so far so good. It

catches light quickly and is remaining on.

I usually resolve problems with the thermocouple by locating the connection under the ring and at valve, and gently wriggling them
