Hello all,

First time poster after finding the forum searching for another CBE 'anomaly'. Will certainly be coming on here more often!

I have the DS300 fuse and distribution box which works well but the Fridge fuse system seems to be for a 3 way with some kind of switching when the engine is turned on. My fridge is 12v only so I don't think that fuse will work? Has anyone else wired in a 12v only to the CBE DS300? What happened through the correct fuse placement or did you use another spare one?

Thank you

You don't say what your issue is or which Dometic model you have (absorption or compression), but it is standard practice for 12v to be supplied for absorption refrigeration only when the engine is running and thus enabling battery charging through the alternator, in which case you can expect switching when the engine is turned on. If you have a compression fridge that was installed to replace an absorption model, it could be that for some reason the wiring was not changed to take account of this.

The fridge is a top loading CB36 compression fridge and should have 12v at all times.

Hence the issue as I don't believe the fridge placement on the DS300 caters for that as standard?

But very limited info through CBE. Thanks

Looks like there is a bridge at 11) to exclude the 3 way function and make a permanent connection.
