Dometic RM7361 no spark to light gas?

Hi folks,
We have a problem with our fridge not lighting on gas.
I have removed the exterior vents and checked all connections around the burner, igniter and gas valve. Removed all the ones with spades on them, cleaned them as best I could and put them back on. Removed the plug from the igniter unit to look for corrosion there and all looked OK. I've taken the control panel cover of the fridge and opened the housing to the pcb. On the first connector on the left of the pcb there are 3 wires, black , white and violet, these come from a block connector mounted on top of the fridge. The black and white are grounds and the violet positive. There is 12v fed to the pcb at this point. Further along the pcb is another connector with the same 3 colours of wires which goes down to the multi pin connector on the igniter unit. When I switch the fridge onto gas the yellow light flashes, there is no spark to be heard or see at the burner and there is no 12v coming of the pcb connection that goes to the igniter, this was checked with the plug at the pcb connected and disconnected. This leads me to think that the pcb is faulty?
Does anyone have any other ideas before I fork out £150.00 for a new pcb
Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

If my van is not level my fridge won't light, think this is the same for most others too.

I've just had a new igniter box on ours as it wouldn't light on gas. There was a spark but it was very weak and slow sparking. It wasn't an easy one to solve as it could have been several things, including high resistance, wiring faults etc............

I took mine to a local repair specialist who had all the fridge spares available as it could have boiled down to a trial and error type fault, fortunately he got it right first time with the igniter box.If you have checked all the obvious things and it still doesn't work then I suggest taking it to a repair specialist who will have all spares at hand.

Don't know if this will help.
There's plenty to check when fault-finding.

Fridge not lighting gas

Hi I had the same problem and researched fault finding the model of fridge on google, downloaded it followed the procedure and in the end it turned out to be the little transformer on the PCB. I found an updated part for my original PCB part number on Ebay, I fitted it easy myself. From memory it was £100.

Problem solved.

First of all thanks to everyone who replied to my problem with the fridge.
After checking and cleaning all connections, and metering all wires, I decided it must be the main control panel pcb that was at fault as there was no voltage leaving the panel on the connection that goes to the igniter unit, even though the light was flashing. So I ordered a new pcb at a cost of £140.00. Well, this gave me the very same results, unfortunately! So after giving myself a severe kicking round the garden I went and ordered a new igniter unit. The one I took off the fridge was a Type P-810 model 241 2789-00,well I couldn't find one of these anywhere. I emailed a couple of spares places and they couldn't source one either.
All the ones I could find were Type P-810 model 241 2798-03 ranging in price from £85 - £105, so I decided just to try one of these. Just as I was looking through them on EBay again one appeared at £26.00 including postage , brand new so I snapped that up. Fitted it a while ago and fridge lit first time. Happy days! So it is good to know that these part numbers are interchangeable. Hopefully that may help someone else in the future.
Thanks again for all replies, especially the wiring diagram.
Ready for the road again.
Cheers

Jimmy
