Hi All, I live in Spain and have a spanish registered Elnagh Marlin, we want to visit Corfu via Brindisi this summer and take our pet dog along, she is fully vaccinated here in spain with certificates to proove, does she need a "pet passport" or is that only to get into the U.K. thanks Jim

No, for Greece is also EU,
No problems, if you come via Italy there is no customs control (except drugs and weapons.) Pet passport is only for the UK. Another advice book Brindisi>Corfu (cheaper) . The regular, daily (greek ferry) is much cheaper to the mainland and you certainly will enjoy the local atmosphere !
Just mind: in Greece there is no righthand driving, nor lefthand; everybody takes the middle of the road

Thanks for that "BELGIAN" the dog will be pleased(she hates injections) I'm used to drivers in the centre of the road, after all I do live in Spain where all the worlds bad drivers come to learn their bad driving techniques!!! ouch. thanks again ........Jim

Its the roaming packs of dogs in Greece that you have to watch out for.......:eek::eek:

Ancona to Igoumenitsa is alright but going onto Patras saves a lot of slow driving. It just depends on how much time you have.
