We plan on taking our dog to Turkey and, more importantly, back home again.
Does anyone have any advice or information on how to get him in to Turkey and back from Turkey in to Europe?
He has his health certificate and rabies vaccine

Difficult to answer as you might need a titre test and I think you need this now., though not sure as regs keep changing. We have a eu passport for our dog.. rabies and worming is a must. You might end up with a 21 day quarantine if you get things wrong. They give a list of dogs that they wont let in.
Turkey does not permit the import of the following breeds or their crosses: Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, American Pit Bull Terrier, Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Rottweiller, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Neopolitan Mastiff, Spanish Mastiff, Dogue de Bordeux, Roman Fighting Dog, Bandog Tosa Inu, Mastiff, Tibetan Mastiff or similar, mongrel breeds
We will check with Turkish gov when we get around to going. But it wont be for a few years.

This is my interpretation, please research it yourself in case I am wrong.

As I understand it, you need a titre test at least three weeks before entering Turkey. It looks like that same titre test will be sufficient to re-enter the UK.
