Allow me to recommend this great dog friendly country pub near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Good Beer, Nice Food and Pleasant staff.
We often call in for lunch and take our dog in with us. They even provide a water bowl in the bar.

The Sun Inn, Norwood, Harrogate, 01943 880220

I would be interested to hear of other pubs that allow dogs in.

Hiya Ken ,thats great news , do you think they would make a good Pubstopover??:rolleyes::)

I recently posted a new pub stopover. The Red Lion Inn at St Kew Highway (A39 North Cornwall). Not only good food and beer but a level carpark to overnight in and they're happy to allow dogs inside pub too:D

As a dog owner, I would like to keep our pub information up-to-date with this info too ...

The white hart inn in Sabden allows dogs (and even has a biscuit for them!) - decent food at a decent price, 2 real ales and a great start / finish for walks.
No good for overnighting but car park across the road which I think you probably could.

Queen's Head in Tweedmouth.

Beer's piss and Dougie's a miserable git but your dog'll get biccies and water.

Sorry Doug, I was joking.:eek:

It was a joke Doug, honest.

Look Doug, lot's of smilies.:eek::eek::eek:
