Discover Leisure customers lose deposits
We were at the NEC show the day before they stopped trading & actually called at their stand to get an insurance quote on our way out. Feel sorry for anybody who has lost money to them, they surely must have known they were going under before the show.

feel lucky right now

whilst looking for a motorhome we went to the site at coppull, lancs and were offered a new peugeot based van for 30k.the only reason we didnt go ahead is that we thought the fixtures and fittings felt a bit cheap and tacky.(also had nothing 2nd hand in the style we wanted)this was after the lincoln show but b4 the brum show.so we could have ended up with no van-lost deposit-got van,but maybe lost guarantee etc.feels like we got lucky on this 1,but someone has lost out financially big time!!!!.billi

Only the management (Directors) would have known that they were in great risk of being forced to cease trading.

Any one who paid by credit card will get their money back but anyone who paid cash, cleared cheque or debit/switch card will be an unsecured creditor.

Never pay a deposit with anything but a standard credit card and don't pay a large amount unless you are 100% satisfied with the financial stability of
the supplier whoever they may be.

Could not agree more, too many companies are allowed to rise from the ashes ten minutes after going bust, same directors to add insult to injury.

You might be luckier than you think. If you have the finance, DL's stock is being auctioned off in December. Viewing from Dec. 6th, sale Dec. 8th.

I have just checked my emails and there is a new one from DL.

From 9 am this Saturday 12th Nov., DL are open to sell off their stock (accessories). Anyone wanting a m/home can negotiate a deal. This sale lasts until Nov. 20th.

Terms are strictly cash only.

The December auction is still on for remaining stock and all plant and equipment at the branches.
