Difficulties in life

Hi All,

I am so sad that so many members seem to be experiencing difficulties of one kind or another in their lives at the moment but at least this forum provides an opportunity to share their problems with others and that is a good thing. Indeed I am very impressed with the number of encouraging replies to these threads. Apart from sharing information on motorhoming this site also provides a very important societal function! Well done guys and girls.

I think firstly the present financial situation is not only creating unemployment, but putting remaining employed under enormous pressure to perhaps work harder than they are able to,

and also the fact, the internet & these forums, are a great place for frank discussions with complete strangers

as your unlikely to ever meet anyway

Definitely agree there are some very strange folk on here!!!

You mean like the word "postmen" for instance. Now watch this space.

Has the Postal Service reached the far flung corners of the Empire?

We have electricity as well (at times) and Indian Chief "running water" :D:D

as long as u keep pedalling?

We have a firth full of turbines now...much better for the tourists than being able to see the hills....and the juice goes to England!
At least the Welsh have the satisfaction of peeing in their water before its pumped to England.

What a great post, I think we all have problems one way or another - motorhomeing is my way of escaping "Coventry" and "Family Issues" - Like to get us away away from it all...

I look forward to meeting some of you's one day on a rally/meet. I made a lot of friends through The hobbyownersclub (thats the german caravan) and then caravanning4u and has become like a second family where we catch up every couple of months - various parts of the country. As I said, I will make the effort and catch up with yourselves in our KonTiki, soon.

Lets Keep this great site!
