Different design for Relay van

Personally I wouldn't even consider a closed cab. Main thing for me is being able to access the driving seat from inside the hab area.....
Me too but it's an option for those who haven't got this reservation.

Me too I had one and was never felt safe in it I want to get to the cab to drive away in the middle of the night without having to step outside the van when the mad axe murderer comes knocking😂.👍

one of the few regulations for aires in france is that you must be able to go from sleeping position to driving position without exiting the veh

I used to think that cab to habitation was a must until I downsized to a Romahome. Access was possible but tricky so I actually blocked it off to have a U-shaped lounge backing on to cab area. Now I do have to park and go round to the back door…….. and I’ve barely given it another thought since! We’re all adaptable! I’m delighted with the feeling of extra habitation space it’s given me. Never say never!

That's great if it suits you, I still stand by what I said tho. Many reasons for my decision both safety & convenience. OK if you only use sites, but I prefer to wild, so its an important factor for me...

Like to have access too, last van had passenger crew seat and kitchen unit behind it, but I could still get over the top of it. Handy when it's raining and I didn't want to get my hair wet.
Current van has walkthrough, much handier.

Not too worried about axe murders though, doesn't take long to disable a vehicle if they don't want you driving off.
It does feel safer though.
