Davaar Island Cave Paintings

Has anyone walked out to see the cave painting on Kintyre ? We`re going to Scotland in 2 weeks and was wondering if it`s worth the walk to the island.

We have walked out to see the cave it's worth doing but remember and check with the tourist office for the tide times you wouldn't want to be stranded out there !

Thanks... I`ll sort out a tide chart before we go, I know we like wildcamping but that looks a bit too wild
Eight more sleeps untill our Scotland trip, i`m not really counting.
