Hi all , me and the better half are thinking of dartmouh this weekend, I have heard that its ok in the car park at the quay this time of year, has anyone been there or know of it ?

You can park on the main front road at Dartmouth next to the river for free at this time of year and it's a much better view! There are even toilets and showers along there
Parking charges along the front do not apply until later in the year (please see the forum as others have previously taken the time to list these details in the Dartmouth Thread).
When I was there, I was up early doors and kept an eye on the car park out of interest (it was only across the road). On this occasion, the attendants hut remained closed, so perhaps this car park is not 'manned' at this time of year? Charges still apply nonetheless, so I'd personally go on the front...and that way you'll get the sun coming in the van from the river
