hi has anyone stayed at dalby forest lately and if so did anyone bother you or was all ok if not i may book on site for weekend and get some biking done cheers stubby:)
 
May be too late but the gates to forest get locked at 8pm and they also do checks you would be better to try wykeham forest which is a little but closer to scarborough.
 
That isn't the Dalby just outside Lund in southern Sweden is it? LOL!
Got excited for a minute there ...

(And I'm wondering if they check the carparks at the Forest Park (Skryllegården) at night ... or whether there is anywhere to park near the very famous old church with Rune stones built into its walls ...)

dalby forest used to be free to drive through, then one year, it was £15 but you could sleep over, not sure if this is still the same

let us know if you go plz
 
Couple of laybys past eden camp on malton Pickering road,then access dalby via Thornton le dale.....a few possibles langdale end of the forest too..
