Is it possible to fit any sort of cycle rack to the rear doors of a panel van so that the doors can still be used? If so, which sort of cycle rack do I look for?

Thanks.

Fiamma make what you're looking for, the cheapest online vendor I've found and used is Agent Fiamma, don't forget that most Fiamma racks are very adjustable, so they can be fitted off centre on one door and slide the rails across to be central across the two.

Hi Kainene,

I have a fiamma on mine. When you fit it you might like to put a peice of wood inside the door to stop the wobble when opening and closing with a bike on the rack.

So I've looked at Fiamma website and am totally bewildered by all the different bike racks on sale. They mention suitable ones for all different makes of motorhome - but nowhere is my ancient Autosleeper/Transit mentioned. :help:

I want one to take 2 bikes. Which model do I need? The most basic will do.

John's Cross supplied my Fiamma for my Transit. Fits on offside door (so can be opened without dismounting bikes) using just four brackets. A good piece of kit but not cheap. If my memory is correct the model number is:- Fiamma Carry Bike Rack 200D
