Do you really get this when buying your vehicle. How many people have brought new vans and had problems getting it sorted,or even second vans ,but they dont seem so bad.

Hi Gary.
I bought my MH new from Knowepark Caravans in Livingston Scotland in Oct. 07. I know it is not 2 years old yet but any little niggle (plastic covers missing from l-shaped brackets) has been dealt with very quickly indeed.
It is an Autoquest 140 and I know it is not a 40 grand vehicle but I am delighted with it and find it great to drive I have yet to experience the reversing judder and all other water ingress problems have been dealt with in a most professional manner by an authorised garage.
I did look at other vehicles but decided to go for this model because of it's simplicity.
Anyway, point being, I have no complaints with the level of customer care YET.

Hi

I have a burstner and i have had more than enough problems with it, some minor and some major. My dealer Camper UK in lincs have been brilliant though and have never let me down, unlike burstner who will never get anymore of my money.

Hi Gary,
My Autocruise Pioneer is almost 2yrs old, and have had my fair share of problems, what with the gearbox juddering and water ingress to the engine problem, the windsrceen drainage, overheating Radio/CD player and so on, in the end I threatened Legal advice, and within 15 hours had a reply from Puegeot customer services, and within a fortnight, it is in the local garage being repaired. Great words "Seeking Legal Advice" did the trick for me.
The Motorhome dealer as previously sorted out all the niggling interior problems to our satisfaction, so looking forward to getting our NEW! Motorhome back, can't wait to be able to Reverse instead of going around in circles:D

Happy Camping:)

Hi Steve,
Our motorhome is also a Burstner that we've had from new, and it is now 4 years old. I love it as much today, as the day we bought it, but it hasn't been without problems. I can relate a catalogue of disasters perpetrated by 3 different dealers here in the U.K...I thought I had found a good one in Camper U.K., but then they disappointed me big time recently (If you want to know more contact me on Private Messages..I am not going to slag anyone off on a public forum)
We are members of the Burstner owners club, and all our problems have been resolved through them, directly with Burstner in Germany. Have you contacted Burstner direct? We have found them to be very helpful.
I don't think there is a motorhome on the market that doesn't have problems, it's how the problems are dealt with that matters..and U.K. dealers are not good at it.

Jackie.
