Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any spots in flookborough bottom of the lake district. We go to the steam gathering each year, just tried to book and they want £43 for one night at the Haven site next door.

Meathop Fell Caravan Club site might be an option. It will be cheaper than the Haven site. It is a very popular site though and could be full.

Depending on how big your van is, you might get away with wilding in the car park at Grange over Sands. It is a few years since I was there but it seemed OK then. If you set up late and leave early, it might be OK.
