Can you still wild camp at Crosby? (Old lifeboat station) Last time we went it had no overnight parking, shame we used to like it there

CU Crosby is now pay & display and i`m pretty sure has no overnight parking signs.

CR Crosby didn`t know there was one or it had been removed a quite a while back.

Pleasureland Southport isn`t that far away, the entrance is off Esplanade, Southport

You are behind closed gates and perfectly safe, Morrisons just over the road and loads of pubs and restaurants nearby.

The lady that runs it Barbara 07711 502368 lives in her motorhome on site, £8 per night £3 extra for EHU.

If you go to southport make sure you visit the "tap & bottles" pub serving fine beers and cheese/ crackers

Hi Chris, please remove c u crosby(Sefton) from poi's it's a pay and display car park with no overnights on the info board, also it says no HGV which I now qualify for we have moved to formby looks good here, no signs cheers andy

Heading up that way, was visiting people in Warrington and felt southport getting in late at night might have been difficult

We will be there Saturday just for 1 night our regular is the scarisbrick hotel 1 pint of Guinness and 1 pint of cider only £4.85 thought they'd made a mistake first time went to bar

Dear POI Admin,

Please accept my humblest apologies for my negligence / lazyness in my first post :bow:

CU Crosby (Sefton) was the one i was referring to and not CU Crosby which was a different spot and already had been deleted :rolleyes2:

It just proves that giving the " correct information " ( one extra word ) can make a huge difference :scared:

I shall go and stand in the naughty corner with immediate effect and only come out when it`s Carlsberg time :cheers:
