CRITAIR STICKER.

Just realised, I followed the instructions but didn't think about driver being on the other side so ours is bottom left.... been there for five years don't think it is removable now...
We saw many many other vehicles that had stickers ( both Crit'Air and Angles Mortes ) in the wrong places, that included French camping cars.

Ours is the same. I believe they use number plate recognition, it's not been a problem for us anyway.

Oh, dear. Well at least me asking the question may have helped others in the future. I don't think they are designed to be removed/ tampered with. I suppose you could ask for another one, as you'd have to do if you.... " needed a replacement windscreen due to damage" 🤔😁.

I put ours bottom right looking from the drivers seat, but it was very flimsy and I struggled to peel it off the form and then stick it on the screen and it still looks a mess. Not seemingly a problem so far any way.

I think that to get a replacement sticker, you simply apply as if for new.

Think we will leave it now...planning to sell in July/August so it can be someone else's problem. :(
Never noticed anyone looking at it anyway...

The only time ours was ever looked at was when we got pulled in roadside checks, particularly down around the Tarbes / Lourdes area.

We always popped into Lourdes so wifey could say a little prayer for her dad who went there by Jumbalance in his final days.

One year it was over run with caravans and camping cars travelling in groups and then we found out there was a massive " Traveller Rally " just north of Tarbes and every major junction and roundabout had several Gendarmes on them looking and we got pulled just the other side but as soon as they found out who we were ( or should that be who we wasn`t ) they let us out.

A short while later we drove past the fields where the rally was taking place, bloody hell it was huge o_O:eek:🤯

The Gendarmes on the road waved us straight past once we was close enough for them to see our registration so i presume the previous check radioed it through.
