Very nice. T1 looks like it's an original microbus version?
That is not only an original "Splittie" Transporter, it would seem to be an "23-Window Samba" which are very rare and very valuable. In the condition that appears to be in, I reckon the average motorhome owned by folks on this forum is worth a fair bit less than that VW :cool:

Certainly appears to be, yes worth a fortune.

Actually I've never really worked out where the Samba name came from, were they originally called that?
To me it's a microbus, or maybe microbus deluxe.
 
Remember Joe olivers porsche powered bus going for a whisker under £50 k...

Proof that some folks have more money than sense ;-)
 
If you would like a Samba but can't run to £150k, try the £1.50 version ....
