copper tape on roof, snake oil?

Just wondering how effective it will be on a flat roof though, as water won't necessarily be flowing over it then the entire roof (if that makes sense).

On roof structures the copper usually seems to be at the high points.

On a vehicle roof, I'd be inclined to put it where mould is most likely to develop, i.e. along joints. I'd guess that the effects will spread as the water spreads.

Could you park nose down or nose up (when not in use) so you have a predictable water flow, then site the strips to suit?

they also used to ,might still do ,use copper nails on roofing again stops green slime . my roof on the house as copper strips just under the ridge tiles .

plus perhaps you could attach a bit of wire to it and use it for an aerial ,because the one in my boxer is shxte lol (yea i know it probably wont work as it has to be vertically polarised )
( Unless you use a vertical strip mmm ?)

Well, I have tried the frames of my solar panels as aeriel and I received 185 channels

Copper based paint was used on boat hulls to keep algae growth at bay. I believe it's banned now. The copper will turn green in time (verdigris) it might leave streaky green stains on painted surfaces, but in theory should keep the mould away, if not give the snake oil a go.

I would rather scrub the roof from time to time than try to remove coper oxide staining any time verry hard to remove copper oxide streak's from pant work
