Went last night to Conwy Marina, one of the poi's on here. They now have a notice saying 'no overnight parking and no caravans or tents anytime.' We found somewhere else but went back in the morning. Had a couple of people shout at us through window, asking us if we could read. Told them very politely that we were not a caravan or a tent, and that we have tax on our vehicle. Spoke to the man on car park, and he said last year they had people staying for a week or more, and also had people sitting out on the footpath in chairs and with bbq's. It is sad that some people ruin in for everyone else.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Marina is not in the POIs ...

This is the location in the POIs 53.29364, -3.84013 - Google Maps and is outside the marina parking area ...

It is listed as LU (layby urban) rather than CU (car park urban) which is what the marina car park would be categorised as.

The poi you have just shown is exactly where I mean. We usually park just where that motorhome is in the picture. The post the notice is on is next to the motorhome shown.

That sign is for the car park only.

Sorry but it is for the road, it is a new yellow sign, says ' Conwy Borough Council. No overnight parking. no tents or caravans at any time' then a picture of a caravan and a tent with a red line through them. Nothing to do with the carpark. I went and asked the attendant for the car park about it. He said that last year they had people parking there for nights on end, and blocking up the road. We parked there many times last year but only for a night at a time. The sign was aparently only put up a short time ago.

The new yellow sign is on the post infront of the rock to the right of the motorhome towards the boats on the picture on the poi.
